New Safety Product Can Help Small and Blind Dogs
I remember the time my old faithful, blind senior dog almost caught us off guard when she attempted to go through our deck railing. I caught her just in time as the 30 foot fall would have meant a probable horrible death. I realized then that we needed to put up chicken wire to stop something like that from happening again. I recently found a product that would have allowed our dog to have her freedom without us worrying about her falling off the deck and would have saved us time and money from having to install chicken wire.
The product is called Puppy Bumpers. I recently spoke with the inventor about her product and here is what she had to say.
Ann Price, Inventor of Puppy Bumpers
“The complications of having a tiny blind dog, or any blind dog are enormous. One thing that can help in some of these situations is the Puppy Bumper. Tiny dogs follow their noses and don’t see the danger, or the dead ends. I had one customer whose pup kept getting UNDER the radiator! Of course, getting stuck behind couches or other furniture where they can’t find their way out, is common. And then, the danger from getting out of the fence, or worse, the balcony rails, is multiplied with the blind dog. Puppy Bumpers can lessen these dangers for these dogs, and make life easier for the people who love them.”
